Who is excited?

Interesting. The phone looks different to me.I don't think it's a nexus prime.

I was thinking it was a Transformer Prime as well. Some of the angled shots you see a bit of the shell, but not enough to get a clear read if it is in fact a Prime or not. The fact that Nexus Galaxy was the Nexus Prime at one point is a bit of a stretch but it might be connected....who can say for sure?

ASUS is an outstanding manufacturer even if its not 'google' tablet. I think the track record with their updating the original will be on par with anything google will do, you know?

I am definitely pumped about the Prime. I have my SGS (Galaxy S) and I love it and the Android OS on it. I've had my Toshiba laptop for a long time now and have been looking for something that will be my next device. I spotted an Acer Iconia A501 a few months back and that started my research campaign on Android Tablets. I was very pleased to find the (original) Transformer.....and almost bought it (and the keyboard) on sight.....but I held off....and boy am I glad I waited and did more research. I found the Prime...and am I pumped...or what ? Ha !
Yeah, I want this puppy. I love the expandability of the device (using a USB external hard drive) and all the I/O ports it has both on the tablet and more on the keyboard. What an excellent concept. Keyboard or no keyboard.....your choice. Choices are a great option.
Having my Samsung SGS I took a long look at the Galaxy Tab 10.1 but it doesn't compare with the flexibility and expandability of the Transformers. On top of all that....the battery life on the Prime is awesome....and gets even better (by a lot) with the keyboard attached. What an AWESOME device the Transformer Prime is. I'm chomping at the bit to get mine.
Anyone,....anyone at all.....have a suggestion on where to get one in Thailand? I know...in Bangkok,.....but what shop(s) would you recommend and when will they have the prime in stock? Anybody know???

Are you an asus sales rep? ;)

Ha ! Nope, not a rep for Asus or anyone else,....just a retired 69 year old geek who's waiting to get my hands on a Prime. ;)

I buy devices with the intention of having and using them for a long time. Price is not an issue because I purchase what meets my criteria and then take very good care of it. This has worked well for me as a worthwhile methodology.
My key criteria points when buying are:
Quality:...it has to be a quality device, preferably from a company with a reputation for quality products. Asus meets that requirement.
It needs to be 'cutting edge'. The Prime is cutting edge technology and should last me a long time.
Value:...the price is not a major issue as long as what I'm buying meets my criteria at a fair price. The Prime is priced ok for a quality, cutting edge device.
It does what I want it to do and does it well. I do my research and verify the item will perform well, and from everything I've seen, heard, and read...the Prime will do what I want. The only shortcoming might be 'HoneyComb' but that is soon to be rectified with ICS.
Customer Service: (after sale) This applies not only to the vendor/shop where I purchased the item, but also to the original manufacturer, in this case Asus. I've heard/read many good reports about Asus and their products but the Prime will be my first product purchased from that company. I would appreciate any and all feedback regarding their Customer Service experience with Asus.

Cheers ! :)
