Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

Thanks soo much for this Bloodawn! I was wondering how I would go about making my status bar transparent. not the actual pull down as you have already done that for use but the main status bar. thanks ;)

Firstly, thanks for the mod. I'll admit, I'm a newb, but the process was pretty easy.

Secondly, I tried the above and had no success. Sorry.. I've grown accustomed to the swipe functionality. Do I have to add something besides the above .apk to get this to work?

EDIT: Installed Touchpal Keyboard. There's a small learning curve, but after you alter some of the configs, it works like swype. Nice app.

Camera button is still messed up but heres a workaround:
Install THIS open it and set the search button for Camera, Long pressing the search button will now open camera without any problems and you can still use the shutter button to take pictures

Bloodawn does CTMOD 2.2 fix that Wireless Scanner issue that I mentioned awhile back? Not sure if you saw my response, hoping you fixed it was I still have to rely sometimes on Wifi Analyzer app to connect to some wireless networks because the built in scanner isn't picking them up like they used to.

I pulled a half a day at work today. I used my phone moderately.
  1. Phone calls going out and coming in worked fine.
  2. Bluetooth connected to my jawbone with no problems.
  3. Messages via text worked fine. (I do miss the white wallpaper when texting)
  4. Photos came attached via text, no problem there.
17 apps installed with no problems (including A2SD aka darktremor)

I use Gmail so was installed via the market and working fine.

I use Quadrant Standard as my benchmarking app and my quadrant score is 1138.

I very satisfied thank you Bloodawn and others that were involved.
 
I notice when downloading from the browser that the copy in the pull down is too dark against the dark background to be legable. all new themed elements look great though!
 
Just updated to 2.2 Anyone else having 3g download speed problems?

Running a few speedtest.net runs, Im avg'ing 30k on market downloads vs the 150-200k i would get with 2.1. Maybe it just needs to finish "setting itself up" or something. Anyways, just seeing if anyone else had this "issue"

I was curious at my speeds so I downloaded the app for speedtest.net. Here are my results.
Ping: 144ms
Download: 281kbps
Upload: 769 Kbps
Also my signal only had 3 bars if that makes a difference. I do find it strange having higher upload speeds then download speeds.

If its working fine for you don't worry about the fix, probably just has to do with file transfers on bluetooth.

I didn't make any changes to anything that has to do with 3g in 2.2

If its slower its cause your signal isn't that good or alot of people are using it in your area
 
Bloodawn, Been a week now about..Still perfect....i can multi-task like no tomorrow. i run Inotia 3 all day in background when not playing it and i am able to do everything else just fine. No lag or anything. THis is an amazing rom, oddly as it may seem i get better reception also.
any way thanks again- you win the battle of the roms :-) hands down---
only one thing would be cool that cm7 has, is the built in Black lister...i know theres apps.but uses more resources
 
Hello. I am currently running 2.1 and I am loving it. I don't think I am going to update anytime soon (too lazy), but I am loving the new dock icons. Can those be added without updating and if not, can someone point me in the right direction of downloading some new icons? Thanks and great work.
 
Hey there. I just did 2.2 and for some reason the market does not reconize my phone from the computer. I did 2.2 CTMOD and I went to the market and signed in. i went to "my apps" but they were all gone there was only superuser, zeam, and the 1 or 2 others. then from the phone I went to market and got gmail and got my contacts back up and running. Then from a computer i went to my library on the market and it shows all my old apps i and went to push an app to the phone and it says that "There are no Android phones associated with this account. Please sign in with a different account" ??? So I logged out of my account and logged back in and it still shows my 30 something original accounts but it still tells me "There are no Android phones associated with this account. Please sign in with a different account" If I click on any of them. Is this normal?

BTW very bare bones lol. seems faster right from the start. once I play with it and get my stuff where i want it I will chime in with my final thoughts :)

did you do a factory reset?
 
Bloodawn i found some errors on the build.prop from some of the 3g tweaks im guessing u added.

ur build.prop has gaps in between 6,1 & 163 84 as shown below
