Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

Side note I have a prevail cracked screen, everything else works... free to anyone just need to handle s&h didn't wanna just throw it away, and I have no use for it.

That makes sense I guess. As soon as I pull my battery and put it back in the phone boots up alone without the power button, but good to know that.

kskillz, I would jump on it if I wasnt getting a new phone in a month or two, I'm gonna run this prevail into the ground.
lol

Yeah it works fine, just exactly like the power button, can even hold it down for options that CTMod gives, like screen shots, etc.

hey fundserv I have it but it's too big of a file to put on my server, so I'm not sure how to get it to you.

Peeeeeeeeeks in after a very long time....

Hello to all my friends, especially LV, cwhatever and wetbiker.

Moved on to a Galaxy S5 and two NVIDIA Shield Tablets, all rooted and custom ROMS...
Still have one of those awesome Prevails.... Interested anyone?

Take care all of you...

Hey there guys. Doing great here, I have the s3 and is doing everything I need it to do, so not moving on yet. Still use the prevail as mp3 and wifi to stream music off radio stations. Enjoy what you have.

I have been running CTmod on my primary phone since, roughly, 2013. I had never attempted to partition its SDcard until this year, however.

Is it possible to partition the card, and have the phone use that 4096MB ext 4 partition as part of its internal memory, without having to reinstall all the apps on the phone before partitioning the SDcard?

I understand the partitioning process will erase the card. I partitioned the card via "Recovery" mode and simply copied the pre-partionining (pre-formatting) contents of the card, which I had backed up, back onto the card after it had been partitioned.

Similarly, I was expecting to just use the "Recovery" mode backup I made before I partitioned the SDcard to restore the phone and have it use the new partition on the SDcard as Internal memory. I have not been able to successfully do that, however; it appears that I must reinstall all the apps and set phone up all over again for it to use the new partition? ??
