4G in OC/LA area down?

I'm actually in Orange county borderline LA, can't get a 4G connection today and I go from 3G to 1x with reception varying from 3bars to none but not 4G at all PRL 3025

you can try to go back to 3019, but have you had any 4gsince you had the phone, if so it might be the problem on metro end, or they might be updating their towers.

I'm in OC and I have no problems. Have 4g with full bars.

Yeah Ive had 4G since I got the phone up till last night. I had the 3025 PRL for about a week or too and was working fine.

I know this may sound weird but try reseting the LTE or network connection for you to get a fresh signal ....it might give you back your 4G

I recommend "restart connection" In market for free .

Thanks for the suggestion but I did a *228 and set it back to 3019 and it works now but still seems like reception is not as strong as yesterday. I had put it on airplane mode and back off to reset connection and it didn't work. I then restarted my phone and it still did not work. so I just set it back to 3019.
I had talked to a Metro employee a few months ago and he told me 3G only worked on certain phones and they can have specific ones only somehow. He showed me his metro phone and it had full bars on 3G but he said they were just testing it and it not out yet and that it was fully functional like on 3 phones and it wont work on others(sounds like PRL to me) but I put 3025 on my son's Optimus and my Esteem last week and they have been working ok untill now.

Well try updating to the new prl which is 3026. Is available at the PRL thread . See how it goes

Thanks for the info, what PRL are you on?

I was on PRL 3025 at the time then I flashed PRL 3026 and that is what I am currently on. You should switch to that.
