Root Liquid Rom 3.2

I have held off on flashing this because of the issues with it that were being reported. If those have been resolved I will try to get around to flashing it tomorrow morning if I get a chance.
To that end I just did a system/wipe and reloaded the rom. I'm not seeing any issues, but I'm not sure what to look for. Let me know and I'll test it out.

I think it was stuff that has been resolved in the patches. I really don't spend too much time at rootz so if I do it is usually the most recent posts for whatever thread I am checking on (or finding something to link) I tend to rely on people posting here to help me make my choices :D

I tried the ICS launcher when it first hit the market I didn't really like it. I will try it again based on your reccomendation tho :D

I am still a fan of SPB shell 3D but if they don't integrate the resizeable widgets then I may have to find a new launcher of choice

I can't even deal with that thread. Went through it twice, once with the DI and again with the TB. Never again.

What thread? The ICS alpha at Rootz? I read thru the TB one about once a day but it is more of the same "still not working going to try..."

Flashed this today. So far no problems. All seems to be working well. I had to get rid of MIUI, it was driving me insane

Ok, I installed this and really like it. I set up both Launcherpro version and ICS launcher. Ok, true, it isn't really ICS, but the layout is pretty cool. What would we do if we had to live with stock sense? :D

Its fun!

GPS not working :(............it says: waiting for location....and then, your current location its temporary unavailable! any patch updates or fix?????

Yup, that is an issue with most AOSP builds. The fix is a bit of a headscratcher (meaning don't know why it works) but here's what you need to do.
1) Backup your AOSP version.
2) Wipe data etc, and install one of the sense roms (bamf or whatever and don't worry about reloading all your data, cause you won't need it for this process).
4) Once you load the sense rom, activate maps, get a gps lock then
5) Reboot to recovery and load your AOSP backup.

Voila. As I said, i don't know why it works but it does. Then do another backup and you will always have a backup with working GPS. I would also download GPS Status from the market. It is a great app.

Hi,
I would add one more thing, do not turn off gps while in maps after you get a lock go directly into recovery :-)
Thanks,
Bryan

This rom def takes some work to get going. I tried it on the plane with no signal and no way to get internet but it crashed really hard. So I restored an old sense 2.0 version until I was on terra firma. Full wipe of everything, obviously, and then it was flawless. I flashed the patch w/ animations which, btw, is quite cool. I turned some of them off they were too distracting, but the rest are nice. OC to 1222 SA v.2 and things are running swimmingly.

Hi,
I am curious how after flashing the patch were you able to turn off some of the animations?
I can't seem to find it.

Thanks,
Bryan

Maybe I'm an idiot but how do you install this ROM? I tried 3 times and it gets stuck at the splash screen. Checked my md5s, wiped, etc
