Help NHL Gamecenter works on Nexus?

Anyone know if it works on Nexus?

Theres 5 min free preview on any LIVE game that playing and appreciate if someone can try it out so I know.

I use it everyday on min HTC Desire and wanna know before I decide beetwenn the Note or Nexus. :)

This is actually a pretty big one for me too. I spend $20 a month for this app along with the computer access and I want it to work in the worst way.

If anyone with a Nexus in the US could take a moment and test this it would be greatly appreciated.
 
I asked a member here in the US if he could test out the app. He informed me that he was able to install it, but the stream gave him the black screen with the circle. I am encouraged that it could be installed though.
 
just installed? doesn't stream live games? this would likely be a deal breaker for me.... i wonder how long it will take to fix that...
 
It was the free version so streaming a live game may be turned off or it was tried while there wasn't a live game. He also admitted that it could be user error. The fact that it was installed means that it should work.

I'll be getting the phone right on or just after launch day and will be testing this out. If it works, I'll let you know.
 
I know that it did work on my Droid X when I was running MIUI with ICS framework which said 4.0.1 in the Android version so hopefully it will. This app is also important to me.

It works on my Incredible even if i disable flash, which gave me hope. I use this on my phone almost daily. I Hope i don't need get the rezound...

That has me concerned as well. It works really well on the Rezound, but this may be a Nexus deal breaker for me.

is there any stuttering in the smoothness of the video? on my incredible, last year's version worked perfectly. this year's app, which is 7mb vs 1mb from last year, the video is not as smooth and definitely stutters.

No it is not as smooth as it was last year. Although I am able to view games over poorer 3g signals this year. It will stutter and pixelate on occasion, but is typically pretty good once it gets going.
 
I contacted them and got this response;

We have reported this issue to our developers of the Android application; an update is nearing production and should be released through the Android Market very, very soon.

I thought the NHL did it differently this year, there is one app. You simply login with your Gamecenter credentials and you get more than the five minute preview.

Either way, I was at the Wings/Predators game last night and wanted to try it out streaming on 4G. Just as everyone has reported here, all I could get video to do was spin the circle too.

Thanks to whoever reported it to the NHL.

I'm sorry to hear... I just sent a message to GCL support online. Please let us know if and when this starts working. I want this phone BAD, but I can not switch to it until this works. I could never switch from a phone GCL worked to one where I couldn't use it....
