Help Lost my weather widget?

When my Epic 4g updated to the GB system, I lost my weather bug clock widget. I'd like to know how to get it back. I found it at another site but it's in a APK file. How do I install that file on my phone?

Reinstall it from the Android Market. Unless you are asking how to install a pirated version of the paid app, then this isn't the right forum for that.

just open with a file manager like "my files" on the epic. but make sure you have "unknown sources" checked in your applications before doing this. it will install when you open it.

it's not working, says it didn't install. I called sprint yesterday and they told me that certain apps and widgets didn't update with the new GB system. He told me to look and see if I can find a .apk file for my Epic4g phone.

Does this sound right?

well then check the market for the newest version of whatever app it is like icecold posted.

If you cannot find it in the market, the app may not support Gingerbread yet. I don't know if it works on GB or not, but Fancy Widgets is an alternative. Otherwise, I use Beautiful Widgets, which does appear to have GB support, although it is a paid app...

The widget, or the app itself? If you just lost the widget, press and hold the screen, and select widgets, then the Weather Bug widget you want.
