GNex release delayed again due to overheating

I just read in several Swiss and German forums, and techportals (i.e. heise.de) that the GNex unfortunately won't release before Xmas. They refer to information from Samsung Germany release should be december 28 though they leave us in little hope by saying it might work for some few lucky distributers to get it shortly before Xmas for delivery to ther customers. Samsung mentioned they had to change hardware which made the devices overheating. There's also mentioned a link between overheating and the bad colors with low brightness.
Since a couple of days production with new hardware component should be in progress.
Sorry for the bad news for all who already call this sexy thing their own!
This might also explain the vuw delay overseas!
My only hope is that Switzerland will get the first few devices in Europe since Google Europe headquarters are located in Zurich, my hometown!
Still can't wait getting my GNex eben though I have some concerns when a flagship device comes out with such errors..

What are you talking about Switzerland getting the first few Galaxy Nexus devices in Europe? It's already released and on sale in the UK. Anyway, your post is not relevant here in the US. Practically all tech sites and blogs are reporting a Dec 9 release date in the US.

I work for a VZW retailer (in the US). We actually have the Nexus in stock... but we received an email this morning saying to keep it in the warehouse because it has been delayed, and no new launch date has been given. A shame, because I've been playing around with one on wi-fi today and I like it.

I am not saying there are not people having issues, but you started a thread saying it had been delayed in it's release in Europe. Then seemed surprised when someone else correctly pointed out the on time release in the UK, stating you did not feel it was truly part of Europe. I was just saying that Germany, which is most definitely part of continental Europe got it early. Perhaps it would have been easier just to say what you meant right from the get go to avoid confusion.
