Atrix dock to Bionic?

Google searches show multiple websites saying the Atrix lapdock does not work with the Bionic.

Nope, not yet.

The status hasn't changed on AT&T's order status page.

In progress, pending shipment.

Better than I. By the time I got around to ordering one, they were "out of stock". I ended up buying one off of Ebay for $70 though so it still wasn't too expensive now that I know that it can be modded for my Bionic. I shouldn't get it by the end of this week or early next.

Mine still hasn't changed either. I called at&t yesterday and the rep told me they were out of stock but they should be getting a shipment in soon. He said they receive shipments on Tusdays and Thursdays and he assured me I would still receive one.

FYI, there are refurb docks in stock for $75, and I did a google and found a redirect site that took off the basic shipping charges.

I'm not so interested in this @75 though. IIRC from all reading, you have to plug in a charger to the dock to make it work.

Just got an email from at&t saying my order was canceled. I ended up ordering a refurbished one from all4cellular for $65 shipped.

Got the same email:

I got one on ebay for about $90 shipped. Had little choice, told my wife I was getting it after ordering from AT&T and when they cancelled my order, somehow that was my fault.

She has a Bionic as well and was all hopped up about having the dock.

:D

Well, just got done modding my Atrix lapdock and I'm typing away on it right now. You can make it so the Bionic fits the cradle comfortably, but it takes a little time and patience to fiddle with resetting the connectors to make sure they're right. Once it's set up, it works as well as the Lapdock 100 in the store. I'm running Kin3tx with full blur right now, but I'll fiddle with other ROMs to see what works and what doesn't. In the mean time - some of the best $70 and use of my years building models spent!

I'm curious to hear how other folks do when you get the chance!

I got mine yesterday and got it all set up last night . So far I love it. I don't own a laptop so this thing will be perfect for what I want to do. Being able to take it with me wherever I go and always having an internet connection for $65 you can't go wrong. :)

Mine came today. Since I've got an Otterbox Defender, I made a decision to grab a micro USB extension cable and a Micro HDMI adapter that I can use with the HDMI cable I already have. That way I can use the dock without having to de-case my phone. I ordered them today, so it'll take a while to get them on the slow boat from China.

Can you provide links to what you purchased?
