Root id3v2 in mustymod or L3?

Hi.

Anybody using mustymod or L3 can check if firmware read mp3 id3 tags correctly?

There is a test set of files for that: http://www.lrn.ru/~greycat/suite.zip (<5Kb).

If you have time, can you be more specific about what files are ok?

That is ok. ik4 as well as ik5 has a completely broken id3 support.

Nobody with L3 tested this yet. Unfortunately. So we don't know.

But (thanks to Andronix) we know it is ok in mustymod firmware.

I just tried to put a song on my Galaxy, in which I had mangled the mp3 info to include some Nordic characters. It doesn't look very good:
The first image is from the File Properties in Windows, the 2nd is from the list view of the "Music" app, and the 3rd is from the play screen of the same app.

the 1.6 ROM does not support id3v2 still.
i stripped all tags except id3v2 and everything will appear as unknown.

and id3v1 does not support unicode properly. shame.
