Maps is fine for directions, and it does turn by turn navigation.

what kind of phone do you have? a lot of the phones already have google nav for "travel"
i assume you mean driving.

You are right its for driving. I have the HTC Droid. I'm looking for something thats going to give me turn by turn as will as something that talks

So your still running 1.5 then.
At some point you will get an update to a later OS and you will have google nav. (1.6 and up all have it) course no one really knows when. But its sooner then later

I dont know if that Co Pilot app would work on 1.5 either. I think it costs money too.
