Just got my Droid last Saturday my wife is sporting the Droid Eris. Downloaded the Android SDK and dipping my toes in the development water.
 
i just got the droid eris. i'm thinking i should have forked out the extra cash to get the Droid. i love the eris but i am missing the keyboard i had with my blackberry. it's taking me a lot longer to type on this one!

You should try out swype its way cool and faster than a physical keyboard once you get used to it.
