Root help with a70 Bluetooth n rom manager

here are the problems I am facing when using my a70.

1. Bluetooth fails to send files and half of the times it fails t receive aswell. tried some alternate solutions from the market but its all the same. also tried to pair with the other phone but it still the same even after pairing.

2. I rooted my phone using z4root then updated Superuser to 3.0.7 and su binary to 3.0.3. then I installed rom manager, ram manager, rootapp remover, android assistant, root checker basic. now rom manager asked me to download n flash the recovery and so I did. I chose a70 from the list it showed and it downloaded cwm 4 and flashed successfully. now the problem starts... I can't boot into recovery mode to take backups of current rom! it freezes on Micromax logo every time. I had to re-insert the battery to get in normal mode (no volume down key this time for normal boot). I want to make a backup of current rom and switch to a better one from the forum.

please help.
 
yes im also looking for a solution to the bluetooth ftp problem.. the weird thing is that i m able to send/receive to my laptop without any problems.. but i cant send to other phones
 
you have to reflash the recovery from cwm again. choose a cwm3.0 first from older version if this works then flash the new 4.0
for bluetooth use astro bluetooth module or blurtooth file transfer

I will suggest to go for Hybrid v1.3.2(if u don't require Flash player support otherwise go for Hybrid v3) and for bluetooth issue use Bluetooth File Transfer from Medieval Softwares.I am currently on this same rom & using this app for bluetooth and I am having no single issue now.I can now send or receive apk files too.
 
I bought Micromax_A70 before 4 months, I love this mobile because of excellent applications support and main thing is low price of the device.

But I'm facing a serious problem when sending files to Nokia or Sony mobile phones. The sending process gives the result as sending failed.

Of course, when i connect those mobile with my mobile the files are transferred successfully if they are very close like infarred technology, and no problem with China mobiles.

Present version installed on this device is : 2.2.1
Why it is happening for my mobile?

Please give me any solution for it.....
 
It even happens with other users including me.Better is to use Bluetooth File Transfer from Medieval Softwares. I even had problem is receiving files from my laptop but not anymore after using that app.Haven't tried to connect it with sony or nokia but give it a try.

I also solved that problem using this app.
And I tried the transfer with Nokia and Samsung phones, it is descent, no errors, no failures.
 
Samrox please help i dont know anything about reflashing and how to wipe dalvik cache..Pls can u give me the procedure since i am a newbie.Please help

solved usb debugging bug,modified init.rc,so removed dta2sd,changed zipalign script to use for apps on 2nd partition,some changes to megascript,added sdtweak,my own framework,msg app modified to show green noti.icon for black notification bar n changed smileys too,removed stock keyboard n replaced with smart keyboard,replaced music app with miui music player with walkman theme...
 
Please somebody help me...No bluetooth its kind of weird..I have rooted my phone can you just tell me how to reflash and wipe dalvik cache...Please
 
Also when i try to reboot in recovery my mobile switches of restarts and gets stuck at the micromax logo which appears at the begining...

Ofcourse u rooted now but u need to install recovery before u can backup/restore/flash roms or wipe dalvik-cache from recovery.Install recovery through Rom Manager or flash using fastboot.see for the tutorial for fastboot in All-things-root section.
 
I am not geeting I have installed rom manager alright also installed recovery by clicking on flash clockworkmod recovery option in it..Now what to do??

To boot into recovery:
Step 1: Switch Off you device.
Step 2: Press and hold volume down button and power button.
Step 3: You'll now be in recovery mode.
Use volume up/down to navigate and power to select the highlighted choice.
