Root After flashing Miui I can not get back to recovery

I had CM7 (GB based) and I flashed Miui 1.10.21 (kernel version2.6.32 9)
I can not longer go to recovery using the reboot (from poweroff menu), CWM or power button and vol button.

Any ideas?

there is a comment in the MIUI thread about that. Not 100% on this so you might want to read thru that thread to verify. I recall it being said that when you reboot the phone watch for a blue LED to flash and then hit the volume down button right away. This brings you into recovery.

If you've done the above - blue light hold down volume down - and that doesn't bring you to the menu for recovery then follow this link

The CWM recovery from the Miui shutdown menu did the job. Thanks a lot.

Depending on what version your on the recovery reboot works and doesn't. If anyone's doesn't work simply reboot normally, as stated above wait for the led to turn blue>green then press your volume rocker up/down. You are now in miui's boot menu, using the power key (not the camera key) select most recent recovery, is CWR is installed this will take you straight to it. A mighty fine option IMO, especially if your stuck in a boot loop. The leds will flash after the moto logo and before the boot animation, so keep a look out - Hope this helps ~

I'm glad they have that feature, but what is weird is mine worked fine without doing that for a long time, but now I can only get into CWR using that trick (boot menu and rom manager just lead to a normal reset now). Tried the delete Needforspeed in the preinstall folder trick with no luck. Oh well I don't think I will flash another rom unless ace updates ics miui.
