Root question regarding sholesupdater

So it is pretty much worthless now? As in..I can uninstall it or when they are back up and running will they still use that app or will we download a different one? Also, I have the update.zip file that downloaded with it, is this the file that installs sdrecovery, nandroid, etc?
 
No Devs are making new updater called DMUpdater....once its done it will just update the current smupdater and rename it. Just hold on a few days so they can get it ready.
