Root BB + GPS issues

Ive recently rooted and installed the BB rom going on 6 days now and my gps doesnt work. Is / Did anyone else have this problem? if so, any thoughts on how to fix?

Same here with BB 7.6.

GPS worked fine, I didn't use the phone for a few hours and then GPS didn't work. Rebooting didn't help. I also noticed the keyboard and capacitive button's backlight had also stopped working.

Went back to plain rooted 2.01.

Everything else works better than ever that I can't consider going back to stock yet as I don't use many GPS apps, but i would like to if I needed to.

0.7.7, 0.7.8 and 0.7.9 are now out - I'd try fixing with a newer build.

FWIW, 0.7.7 has JIT enabled, 0.7.8 removes it, and then 0.7.9 uses a newer kernel (if I am reading it correctly).

Give one of them a shot.

I still have BB 0.7.6 installed, and GPS is indeed not working correctly, so I am off to do BB 1.0 and see if it makes a difference. Might look into that as an alternative to the BB 0.7.x series.
