Yes! I am picking up a brand new Magic on Monday, and I am new to Android! I would like to make a complete backup of the phone before doing anything with it.

Is there a guide to doing this?

What else would you do with a new phone before "serious use"?

You will probably want to get an app from the Market "MyBackup Pro" and make regular backups of your apps and data ... as you make changes and additions to your phone ...
