[International / GSM] rooting with bootloader already unlocked

i just have a quick question - i just got the gnex, and the first thing i did was unlock the bootloader, since it wipes the phone. i was originally going to wait on actually rooting, but i think i changed my mind. i used a different method for unlocking it via droid-life - http://www.droid-life.com/2011/12/05/how-to-unlock-the-galaxy-nexus-bootloader/ , so can i still use this guide to root? i wasn't sure if i should start at step K or if i need to do things differently since i didn't use the same files from here to unlock. i've already restarted since unlocking it. also, i'm really a noob, i went from an og droid that i rooted using a one click method just to be able to tether and block ads, i've never flashed roms or done anything technical at all, so super simple instructions would be really helpful. thanks so much in advance!

I would think that you should be safe starting at Step K.

However neither I or Android Forums are responsible for what happens to your device.

sorry have to through that in there. Please post back and let us know the results.

thanks! used the superboot method, and it worked. although it froze on the google screen and i did a battery pull, then when it restarted it didn't have service/read as Dec 30th, 1999 for a good minute, nearly giving me a heart attack, haha. but all seems well now. =)
