Good catch man!!! I would have walked out of the store with this guy tomorrow and gotten home and been really mad. Anyone with the phone ordered the real deal dock and tried it yet???

Can anyone confirm that the GSM version of the dock is fully compatible with Verizon's LTE Nexus (including charging, audio, and of course that it fits)? Also, what do you think is the best place to buy the 3-pin version of the dock if you're in the US?
Is it not the same dock as this?
Genuine Samsung Galaxy Nexus Vehicle Dock - ECS-K1F2BEGSTD
because that one clearly uses the three prongs... he even talks about it in the video... and not a USB connection. I don't really want a dock that uses the usb connection. I broke my OG Droid's usb port from too much plugging and weird angled pressure and whatever.
Could you take some pictures of it?
Here we go. None in stock, but a good price and seems they should have them before the end of the year.
Samsung Vehicle Car Mount for Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Nevermind that number ends STA rather than STD and seems to be missing the passthru and pins also.
Is that the right one mnfg part # wise? Just the wrong pictures shown?
Also, a word of advice to those considering the TETRAX XWAY style mounts, those magnets looks like they are in exactly the same position as the NFC chip on the back of the battery...so if your thinking about doing it I'd test your NFC chip first, then mount it for a while, then test it again, and be possibly prepared to buy a new battery.
Is there a car dock that doesn't require sticking it to the windshield? Maybe in a cup holder or something
Also there is NO MAGNET ON THE BACK OF THE PHONE!!!!!!!
I wonder if the Samsung mount can be separated from its base... I want the 3 pin functionality but won't be mounting it on the windshield.
The ports for the usb and aux cables are on the bottom of the arm so it seems you'll have to use it as is.
The reason I want the Samsung one is:
it connects with the 3 pins.. and on the base of the mount is where you plug in charging cable and audio cord.. I wont have to keep plugging it into phone everytime i get in car i simply just dock it and it automatically charges...
Will it work with the Verizon one though? The LTE version is thicker than the GSM version, so wouldn't that cause issues? My Nexus fits very snug in the Verizon dock...
