How do you make the wifi bar thingy transparent?
 
OK... I actually did change it quite a bit this time. Hopefully plan to leave it like this for some time. Now I just have to fix up my other screens :rolleyes:

trying out the black background for battery savings, but also because it's pretty cool with the cyan/magenta I think

So lemme see if I remember the things I've used on here...

1. nova launcher with the grid resized to 6x4. I messed around with this ALOT, changing it between 6x5 and 5x4 like 100 times today, but I think this makes me happy

2. icons are from "Fluxed ADW Theme." I do have to admit it was a PITA to change every single icon independently since as far as I could tell, there's no option to apply a theme to nova.

3. clock is beautiful widgets superclock 4x2 (is it just me or are all the widgets backwards...columns first?) with ICS clock skin and Vos-SPIL weather skin (fits with the electric color theme)

4. Power, etc... widget is Extended Controls. I use these toggles like a crazy woman so I like having them all there and easily accessible

5. Battery is circle battery with custom colors...

And that's it? I'm gonna try for a few days and see how I get on with the folders on the dock/homepage. I love this phone!

Anyone know how to make the folders transparent? I want the folder on the dock but don't like the black background, it stands out way to much on this wallpaper!
 
Well went and changed up my entire layout

Used so far
Zone launcher
sense glass clock
circle battery
WI-Fi manager

Having way to much fun trying to customize this phone. So much to try and so much to learn and still have unlocking and maybe rooting in the future..

I use the Outside Box screen transition effect and it looks like I am spinning a box when I scroll through homescreens. This screen grab is taken when the screen is halfway through transition (I am holding it like that).
You can also see the second row of dock icons I use (I have 3 rows).

question - if you disable the search bar (Apps-->Google Search-->Disable) and it goes away - does a big 4x2 Clock/Weather widget like "Fancy Widgets" get pushed down a bit because you can't use that screen space where the search bar was? or will the Clock/Weather widget position itself over that space (and in its "correct" position)?

can someone please post a screenshot of how this looks?

i like the "Fancy Widgets" 4x2 Clock/Weather widget but i don't want it to be pushed down and i'd rather not have to use a launcher like Nova Launcher etc.

no, if you disable it, the space is unusable. you can use launcher pro or similar and supposedly it allows for use of that space again

ugh. thanks. i don't like how it pushes down the clock widget but yours looks cool though. well i guess i'll have to use Nova Launcher or i'll have to Root or maybe some intrepid developer will figure out a way to fix it or perhaps Google will send an update which fixes it. thanks again.

but probably you were asking where the ICS skin is... I think it only shows up on select clock widgets...or maybe I just totally missed it. If you have a 4x2 widget it should be one of the top featured skins
