Haven't been in this thread in a while;
Any rom's yet? And is it really worth getting this phone ?
Or should i switch to sprint and buy another phone.
My brother just got the Samsung Galaxies 2 from t-mobile for only $100 !
So yeah , please leave advice

No roms add of right now. CWR is still being developed. As soon as its finished there will be a 1.7 GHz kernel released and roms will follow

1.7 fllllyyyyyysss! Makes you wanna sing R.Kelly Ahahaha ;) Throw a custom rom with it and LG's dev's are going to feel ashamed of their work even tho they put together a fast phone :D ahaha

What should have work better on the phone was improving the battery life .....

Guys will you think that if I do the kernel on my phone will it help with the rebooting issues? which by the way it does not reboots while the phone is charging.

All smart phone battery lives suck. Even my Ascends battry life (while stock) sucked. But they should of used a bigger battery.

Hard to say. Hard to say because no one really knows what is causing it. Ive never had the reboot issue, so I cant say if it actually does.

i'm running 1.7 ghz now, still testing recovery, so not for public as of yet...
How stable is it @1.7? My Xoom can clock to 1.7 but reboots at that speed, it runs fine @ 1.5. I would like to run @ 1.7 but would rather have ics. A lot of the lag and issues have to do with android not the hardware (been running ics on Xoom with stock kernal and man ics makes a world of difference)

no reboot @ 1.7 but at 1.8 or 1.9 it will reboot. so 1.7 is stable (ATM)...

well. my point exactly!! I was referring in general that android phomes nowadays should come with better battery life since we know we like to use the phone so much now that it seems to be capable of doing multiple things that couldn't before...

srsly. love my esteem. it would have been Another story if the battery lasted longer without having to do any minor tweaks or buy a extended battery. well is my opinion. I am a hardcore user!!

Yes it is hard to determine but I mean why it does not reboot while charging is what puzzles me I was hoping for an update from LG on this soon.

Hey guys sorry i just had a question kind of not sure like overclocking will damage the hardware of the esteem right or reduce the life of it? I really am not sure of this please answer and thanks. I check everyday at least 15 to 20 times a day for news of the esteem in androidforums :P

no it will not damage your phone, and it makes the phone run extra CRISPY and smoother.

way off topic but you can get rid of that superuser permission notification by going to the settings :D

Also in terms of the total score; how does that compare to some of the other phones?
