Lockbot Free has messed up my Eris

i've been using advanced task killer free for the last 3 months without any problems at all. it only kills the processes you tell it too.

yet people come here complainig about force closes and blaming another app. but when asked if they have atk they say yes. there are many threads blaming other apps but none fit till you ask about atk. wow doesn't take a genius to figure it out after that.

you'll be the next person who's blaming another app for messing up your phone while atk is the real issue.

Fortunately I'm not an idiot like you and after 3 months with no problems I doubt that very serisloy you jackass!

not to argue tho but i was having the same issue this guy did. you want to know what program i got rid of to fix this never happening again? ATK. so you can keep to your belief that ATK is safe. i hope you never have these probelms happen to you. but if it does take a big look at ATK before you post another app is the issues. that's what i was saying before you popped in. no need to argue here i'm just posting my findings.

calm down there killer. No calling eachother names over task killers.

The problem was resolved no reason to attack eachother
 
atk had nothing to do with my problem. i have had atk since i bought my phone, and no problems for the entire 2 months. the problem started when i installed lockbot. and i have my atk set up to only kill what i tell it to when i tell it to.

The reason so many of us are quick to blame task killers has to do a lot with their history on the Eris. When the phone came out a bunch of know nothing salesmen where installing them on phones at setup. They did nothing to configure them or explain them. This resulted in many users having problems. We are glad that you guys don't consider yourselves idiots, nobody said that you were. You will have to excuse some of us that have learned from our brief history, though.
 
Lockbot Free and the occassional use of TaskFarmer when my phone lags. Got rid of ATK a while back following OTD's recommendations lol. Only use TaskFarmer to stop certain apps every once in a while (every few days) when my phone starts to lag.

No issues with Lockbot tho!
 
That just happend to my brothers phone last week we just backed his contacts on google then did a hard reset. if you cant get into the menu to do the hard reset just hole the power+talk+down volume rocker when turning on then choose clear storage and it will earse all apps and contacts aka hard reset
