Is there a way to tell if the Rezound is a refurbished phone.

I'm looking to buy another one online as a gift.

Edit, I remember back when I had a touch pro 2 and possibly the moto 930 there was a code you put in the phone to see life ussage, I figured there would be something more advanced for this.

I think you can press *#*#4636#*#* + SEND on Dail pad to see usage details but I'm not sure how easy that is to alter. I would definitely recommend getting the MEID or IMEI and calling VZW's toll free number 800-922-0204 and they can tell you if the phone has been locked with an insurance claim or reported stolen. I had a friend that ebay'd a Dinc and then could not activate it because it had been reported stolen.

^^that for sure OP. I recommend that to everyone that asks me about buying a used phone.
