New user here.
I recently got my new HTC Hero via Orange and want to make absolutely sure im up to date with the latest and greatest.
Please excuse the question if it has been answered elsewhere although i could not find it directly by seraching:
I have a blue tooth file transfer app that says it wont work work properly until i have Android 2.0 or above. So i assume that means im not!
I understand the latest and greatest version is 2.0 or even 2.01.
Now.....if i look in my 'About Phone' list, should i be looking for Firmware Version, Build Number or Software Version or what.
The HTC site offers a ROM upgrade but the file i downloaded seems to indicate the same as my exisiting 'Build Number' which is 2.73.61.66.
My 'Firmware Version' says its at 1.5
My 'Software version' at 1.0.0.A6288
If the Bluetooth app thinks im not at Android 2.0 or higher, which one is this.
Some clarity would be greatly appreciated.
