Help Cant copy files after sd card upgrade

Hi, i recently upgraded my original 2gb micro sd card with a 16GB ScanDisk micro SDHC memory card. Whenever i try to copy new files(music) i get 0x8007045D: I/O device error and my phone locks up. Would apprecieate any help thank you.

I'd suggest you to format the card before trying to copy info to it. You could either format it on the phone by going into Storage under settings, or by connecting the phone to the PC and formatting it from MY PC.
 
Hi, thanks for trying to help josh but it turns out it was my pin code on my phone that was somehow causing this problem. So now i just disable my pin when copying stuff and it works now.
