Is it worth $300

Hi I was wondering if you guys think this phone is worth the $300 cost. I have an optimus m and i love it even if its sort of laggy at times. I am thinking of upgrading to the Esteem but just wondering if you think the phone is worth $300? I was also considering upgrading my mom to the indulge since it has a keyboard and can play netflix better than the optimus m (she has one two) and that really what she uses it for, netflix and random games. Any input would be appreciated thanks.
 
I love it. Right now, best phone Metro has hands down. There is one thing I dont like about it tho. Very minor tho. Theres no external/hard key for the camera. But besides that, best 350 buck Ive ever paid to Metro.

Oh and you should buy your mom one too :D

And one more thing. LetsTalk.com has them in stock unlike alot of Metro stores and they are 274 out the door no wait for a rebate. :)

This phone is great. Have not regretted what I paid for it yet. And it seems like I wont be, any time soon.
 
Just paid $250.00 because I bought it from Wirefly almost 2 months ago but If I have to pay $350.00 right now will do it. Best phone from Metro I ever have, it’s 200 times better than the Optimus M (had it for more than a year) 4G speeds, ultrafast Snapdragon processor (now OC’d at 1.9 GHZ working stable with CWM Recovery and custom ROMs) bigger screen, better camera, smooth response. I don’t have any negative thoughts about this phone. As I said before compared with the Optimus M is like night and day.

I have a Galaxy Indulge right now that I'm kinda getting sick of.

Is it worth it to upgrade to the Esteem, or should I just wait until the Connect comes out?

There's no word on the price of the Connect, but those two cores look mighty enticing.

Any thoughts from Esteem owners on this?

Well according to metro you'll be able to know in the next 30 days when it supposedly releases :)
 
I think it is worth it, I moved from Verizon and a Droid to Metro and an Esteem and I have no regrets. I paid $250 from Sams Club Online. As you can see above there are a number of places that might have the Esteem for $250.
Lets face it, the value is in what you want out of the device. I love the large size and large screen. It is Fast as well. I have not had any problems really except my texting did not work right the first day or two I had it and I think that was just a matter of the networks updating when I changed carriers.
I have not even rooted my phone. I am kind of a basic user user I guess, Talking, Texting, Internet, Email, Navigation and stuff like that and I still think it was worth it.
I am saving $100+ over my previous arrangement which makes me really happy, your case might be different?
 
so i just ordered the esteem for 249 im not hurt that i bought it hurt when i got a text from my bank saying i have 249 dollars less in my bank account lol better be worth it seriously:o:o:(
 
I too have decided to go with the esteem. I am currently using the huawei m835 will be trying to get one tomorrow. I hope I can buy one in store.
