yeah i was thinkin to switch to kernel on stock rom... but im not sure if it is 100% so not sure if hdmi is working on that either... but once they get i fix i will ask if they are ok with me using it on this rom :D update coming soon guys i promise!! sorry for the issues and wait...

Uhm. There is already a fix for hdmi with the new mtm's kernel.
 
I'm contacting mtm so he could publish the new kernel with the fix. I'm surprise he hasn't done that yet. Maybe he is adding more stuff to it...

BTW, I know because I currently have it. ;)
 
k, as promised heres the new update... power off issues but quickboot app fixes it... everything else works perfect!!! except hdmi (waiting for offical release and permission) thank you for support and thank you mtmichaelson and playfulgod and everyone else that has helped!!

i have no power off issues. Also am stable at 2GHz. All i did was flash the first release of Plague Extreme after i flashed this. No problems

o thats awesome than :D my phone was improperly rooted by the previous owner so i have a few issues to sort out with this thing... but it seems to be running fine so i will wait untill CWM get an official esteem release (if) and zvc can be rooted without a downgrade(if lol) but as promised i will keep updating this rom as time goes by!! and i will start working on some themes soon too!!! maybe bump heads with some of the more advanced developers here and see if we can get some good ones started :D

o yeah, and if you are in need of it go check out mt's hdmi fix kernel. im pretty sure its compatable with this rom since its all stock framework
 
This is what I was looking for! Very nice and smooth, debloated, Rom tool box.

Thanks to all of the developers, people who worked on all of these ROMS and to those who tested them!

What do you mean how is it different? its the stock launcher, with all the RAM eating stock apps removed. Does yours not look like the stock launcher that came with the phone?

EDIT: Dont mean to sound mean by the way lol just surprized.

No no. What im asking is how is this rom different than the gingeresteem rom besides the LG home launcher.

Edit; I could add the launcher to the Gingeresteem. But I just wanted to know the differences.

OOO haha other than adding QuickBoot, i see no difference. Sorry about that.

I do think the 2.3 launcher operates smoother than ADW, there was glitches with ADW's dock

P.S. I flashed Plague Extreme over this rom to take care of the power button issues, also it may help if you arent stable above 1.8GHz.

Pfff by mile. Right now I'm using go launcher ex with ics theme. This launcher is butter smooth...

the major difference is its 90% stock lol this rom has everything the phone originally came with (lockscreen, launcher, widgets 'i need to put them back in lol' and everything works the way it is supposed to) its official stock debloated and optimized... vs the other roms which has many files replaced with AOSP, this rom does not! only things i changed from stock is thekernel(PG), init.d scripts(MT) statusbar background being transparent and the screen indicator dots on homescreen are black instead of red :D this took a lot of work getting all the stock framework to function properly with all mt and pg's extras!!! so if you like the stock look but with all the latest feautures/tools than this is the rom for you, if not than leave... hahaha im jk thanks for the support guys :D

thanks to all the dev who work on this ROM, just notice that keyboard and alarm clock is not from the stock ESTEEM, how can i get that,.. thanks:)

that is actually my7 mistake lol after doing like 300 hundred tests i kinda lost track of what i added and rewmoved... but i plan to put the original keyboard and newer swype(older one keeps asking for update and new one works fine...) and add the stock widgets back on... not all of them lol

and the aosp alarm clock is honestly just better than the stock one so will probly keep it...(stock esteem has 2 seperate apps for alarm clock and desk clock, where as the aosp version is both in 1 plus some other features... so its better lol

my plan is to keep the rom stock 'looking' but that dont mean we cant have better than stock apps lol

Cool! Thanks a lot it is one of the reason I get back to stock thou, nevertheless gingersteem is also an excellent ROM. Looking forward for the stock keyboard
