Desk Cradle That Charges Phone & Spare Batts

A week or two ago I contacted an eBay Chinese dealer about a desk top cradle that charges the phone and the spare battery at the same time.
He said not yet and today he got back claiming to have one that Sync's and charges both batts. There is a USB source and a power cord source it sounds like.

For $21.99 I rolled the dice. I'll get back if it fails.

Looking at that picture, I don't see why it wouldn't work for either.

That said my concern would be how it splits power between the phone and the battery... My "bet" is that depending on where you plug the USB into it halves the amperage.

i.e Plug into a normal wall charger with 1 amp output, you end up with .5 to each when both the phone and a battery are hooked up.

That said if your using it as a night stand that probably not a issue because the phone charges in several hours anyway

That was my first inquiry to him a few weeks ago. He responded back then it was GSM only. I asked him to get with me if a CDMA unit came out and he did.

We will see in a week or so.

There are also some car mounts for $2 or less that are the exact same thing as those on Amazon for $12.00. Interesting (Chinese)site w/ some replacement parts too.
