depend on what u need. cheap phone with worest customer care or a phone which iks economical but good suuport.

plus max does not support native video calling nor it will upgrade to gingerbread.

its ur call.
 
If u r not bothered about the version of the android or company's name or slow processor u can prefer mmx a70 :P and if u r not bothered about toooooooo smalllll screen size only 2.9 inch touchable u can prefer galaxy y
 
you MUST go for galaxy y micromax is crap , cheap etc etc... my father also bought a70 but he is fed up with its old 2.2 os.... even my mi 300 supports cm7 officially ...
you can find the specs & cheapest price over here -> samsung galaxy y

Max camera suck it take bad picture at night. the lence is not good plus only paid app take good picture. so far i know doird take good pic.

in short nokia 2mp take better pic then max a70.

i guess my driver chines phone take better pic then max a70.
 
Hey why are u all posting bad comments abt a70...guys its not such a bad phone....i know u guys are all fed up abt the kernel source which mmx is not willing to give out...but still i have the faith that it'l be upgraded to 2.3....we'l some how try to get the source....
 
Camera quality is not a problem.. all sub 10k androids have bad camera quality in low light conditions, if not worse..
In good light conditions, quality is fine (actually brilliant for a phone of this price)

When i bought this phone i knew 5 MP quality wont be as good as for say Galaxy S.. but so far, i have no problems with the camera

Yes,but I don't want to give him such idea which has no future,atleast right now.
It's his decision.phone is good but don't expect cyanogenmod or gb upgrade right now.
I have faith in my dev frnds only but I have no faith in mmx,not anymore....better to boycott such company.that's what i will do.it's individual opinion only,noone should generalize it.

Guys MMX A70 is an awesome phone. I'm using it for the past one year. No complaints no hassles. It wud be able to upgrade to higher OS soon as replied to me by Micromax company... The delay because they want to establish the particular model in the cellphone market with the OS provided by them... but soon it will be able to be upgraded....

Buddy, pls check ur phone with an authorised service personnel... However, as far as many are concerned, MmX A70 camera is the best in either light conditions compared to any other phone of this range....I'm using it for the past one year... dudes... I'm totally concerned about good pics on my phone cam being a constant traveller.... im too happy with MMX A70

can u briefly say what mmx say u about a70 update coz whenever we have asked mmx officials about update in a70 ,they have replied NOT POSSIBLE...waiting for ur answer...

Hi hakukaa512 ... don't get bothered by all this.. This is all because all my friends are tired by doing everything for KERNEL SOURCE..

Here is my opinion.. A70 is good or best phone available in this price range as it gives you:
1) 3.2 inch Screen, 2) Much brighter and clear display, 3) 320 X 480 screen
resolution, 4)3G, 4) 5 MP camera is OK, 5) good Looks and great
build quality, 6) It is available at Rs 6000 only...

but at the same time it has drawbacks:
1) No software update, 2) Very very Poor service [Mine cell is at service
center since 50 days to change broken touch pad], 3) Phone cannot be
fully developed as we don't have SOURCE CODE and i think we r never
going to get it.. AT LEAST FROM MICROMAX.. .. .. .. ..



SO ITS your call to take it or not..
Extend your budget a bit and go for HTC EXPLORER for RS 8300.. .. .. .. ..

I don't think it's been anywhere near an year since A70's release :/
 
@santacy...have seen d date when hakukaa512 had asked d question???? that was 20jan & today is 23march!!! I don't think he is waiting for ur answer!!!!he has already bought 1 :p
