How long does it take to charge from empty to full?

3 x OEM extended 2100 is 75 dollars total from Verizon. On sale at 25 dollars a piece. That's 6600 mAh. Free shipping.

OEM with nfc. No hump. Nuff said.

Seidio is 70 plus shipping. So same price. I know which I would choose. And I would imagine seidio is closer to 3000 mAh than 3800.

Exactly I have 2 2100Mah and 2 1800Mah Abit overkill but thats about 7800 Mah and with the extra battery charger I rarely ever have to actually plug my phone in!

These outboard power packs don't look like a better solution to me than the big battery from Seidio, but that's me. These outboard packs just look very awkward.

it's not just the appearance but the overall aesthetics. i also would rather get multiple oem extended batteries at $25 a pop than the seidio extended battery. plus i already have a few cases.

lol@people caring how a phone looks. It's a tool, it's not jewelry

I don't mind a hump. What I object to is seidio is very likely using the exact same 5 dollar eBay batteries we can get but charging 70 bucks for it because they slapped a sticker on it lol. I'd like to be proven wrong.

it took me 2hr from 8% to 100%

This is similar for me as well. Stock battery takes 2 hours from virtually empty to 100%. Extended (2100) battery only takes a little bit longer. I'm pretty pleased with how quickly it charges. It charges faster per mAH than my Fascinate did, even when connected to the same exact charger.

Takes longer on the car charger, and quite a bit longer on PC usb port, but that's to be expected.

Nah, ebay batteries are only worth $5 since they don't meet their rated capacity, don't last but a month or ttwo, and might take your phone out (or your face on an explosion) LOL. Seidio isnt know for meeting their rated capacity either, but beyond that they work well. Are they worth $70? Probably not, but they definitely are an improvement on the cheapies.

So the seidio is comparable to a 15 dollar eBay battery then. :)
I would bet the seidio batteries are from the same factories the eBay batts are from.

I don't know what kind of batteries you've seen on eBay but I've been using the seidioonline 3800mah battery for about a week and absolutely love it.

I can leave everything on all day and still have more than 50% battery by the time I go to bed. That's on Verizon's LTE network with an exchange account set to push, gmail set to push, yahoo, and 2 Hotmail accounts along with Facebook, Google reader and a bunch of other accounts.

I can finally leave GPS on all day and still have plenty of battery to spare!

Ive even used Google wallet so the nfc chip works (had to manually install the apk for Google wallet since Verizon blocks it).

Well worth it. Did have to get a new case, from Verizon, as my old one didnt have the depth to support the new battery.

I purchased the extended Seido 3800 about one week ago. Yea, it's bulky but you know what you're getting into with an extended battery. I'm pleased with it. The stock battery would last 6-8 hours of moderate heavy use while the extended will get me a day and a half.

Not sure why they advertise no NFC support because I use wallet daily with no issues!

They offer 2 batteries now, one with nfc and one without. The one without is the one they offered first. Probably just didn't update some text somewhere, which they have been know to do.

It's awesome. And the one that is five dollars more expensive does have nfc.

Hey all. I'm considering purchasing the 3800 w/NFC since I'd really love for my battery stats to be looking like all of yours! My question to all of you: are any of you running custom ROMs? If so, what ROM, and how do your battery stats look?

Thanks!!
