Help Lightflow Won't Turn Off

I got lightflow the day the phone came out and it works great, but last night for some reason when i get a notification it won't blink anymore...it just stays on, so for instance if I get a Gmail notification it just stays lit up green instead of blinking, it's not the biggest deal in the world but I liked it the way it was

I checked settings and it's set on both battery and charging to cycle at a medium pace so I'm not sure if there's something else I can't find going wrong with it??

not rooted running stock, thanks
 
i have the same "problem" but mine has ALWAYS stayed solid unless i got 2 notifications, then it would blink the 2 different colors.

yea it does that for me as well if I have more than one notifications, it's just odd that it started acting like that out of nowhere
 
I got an update pushed to me....yesterday I THINK. Did you get the update and if so, did it just start happening after the update? If you didn't get the update, take a look in the market to see if it is available for you.....just throwing darts here.

hmm...didn't notice an update for it, but I usually clear my auto updates without looking much, i went to the market and there was nothing up for an update...am running 2.11
 
Same here, I'm on 2.11.0LITE to be exact. Sorry couldn't be of more help, I might try an uninstall/reinstall approach unless someone else notices something.

Did you look to see if one of your settings got screwed with? Go under "Notifications" click on one of the things that you have marked, for instance, go to your Gmail one and scroll down until you get to "LED flash rate" there is an option for having it always on instead of flashing...maybe it got checked either via an update for some odd reason or an accident.

you my friend are a genius or I'm just an idiot, either way that's what the problem was, I've never even messed with those options and didn't know where they even were, but somehow all of them were tripped to staying on all the time...thanks
 
hey that is why this community/forum is so freaking awesome, everyone is just trying to help everyone else. I'm sure I'll have some issue and you'll show me the light one day.

My Lightflow has been all messed up the past day or two. LED Rates changing, special notifications for contacts getting erased.

Strange.

i emailed the dev team before i got the answer in this thread and they emailed me back this morning saying the recent update caused some bugs in certain phones and to just change the notifications again
