hey thanks for all the hard.work u are doing! absolutely lovin this Rom but I have a few questions...
1: so I can make calls but I have no dialer app... like the stock app to take me to the dialer.isn't there even though it is there... just can't see it to put on my home screen. any fix for that by chance?
2: and was also wondering if there is way to get ics stock keyboard on here?
3: and also wondering about ics stock browser and if we can get it on here?
4: oh and im also having issues getting nfl mobile to work it lets me go to the sign in part but it wont sign me in.

Yeah, but I don't care because your CleanROM 2.1 takes care of all that. I just need to access the boot.img from the backed up /boot partition if I want to go back to stock ROM. I'm about to take the plunge. If you hear my drowning screams... =And just confuse you a bit more... The boot.img iis housed in PH89IMG.zip

If you mean the real stock ICS keyboard not the HTC stock ICS keyboard(yes they are two different things), then yes. Download it from the market.
For the NFL mobile thing, I think the leak is missing some Verizon framework required to sign in. Does "My Verizon" work?
No my Verizon doesn't work... I didn't know there was an ics keyboard in market thanks!
I love this Rom so far isn't it awesome?

Yeah then something is missing. I know the Verizon SSO engine is present but who know what else could be MIA. Football season is over until the draft in April anyway.

Mine did the same thing at first. Once I got home, switched my wifi on, it let me sign in. Now that I've signed in, I'm able to use it on wifi and 3G.

No prob! Any idea on the BT music issue? It seems like if restarting makes it work again, there should be some process we can kill to accomplish the same thing. Is there any tool that I could use to see everything in the phone that is effected when using BT?
Yeah, I see where you are going but keep in mind... THis is a discard table scrap from the manufacturer. Not everything can be fixed. Im not trying to be the wet blanked but no one has found a fix for it yewt and I am starting to think its just a core OS problem for this device....
But.... With that being said...
Have you heard the term "logcat"? That will put out everything the system is doing in to a log and you can possibly examine it. But.. I think the most you will see is that the stack dies and will not restart. Thats just a guess. And even if I am right... I dont think we will be able to fix it.
By all means I am not trying to discourage you but just want let you know what you are up against
I have said things cant be fixed before and someone with no knowledge of anything comes in and says.. "Yeah, just press this button first and you never have a problem again..." So if in you troubleshooting you find anything or have any questiosn do not be afraid to post them up!

Now I am confused. If I don't backup boot (which creates boot.img), and I can't flash boot.img with recovery, how do I boot boot.img if I want to restore to my current ROM? Power off and boot into HBOOT by holding down VOL DOWN + POWER, and do something there?

I added 2.1 over RezRom the other day and prefer it but before I go to 2.2 has anything been done to allow for a full battery charge? I cannot tap out at 100% no matter what I try. I wiped and went back to CleanRom 1.5 and I was able to hit 100% then wiped and went back to ICS2.1 with no luck.
A few other minor issues is that the drop down tab will work at any time, even when passkey locked (maybe this is how its suppose to be?) and some Apps such as handcent actually freezes up the lock screen untill I manually turn it off and back on then it works.
So far 2.1 has been pretty good, I have no issues with BT or streaming over it but I do get a pause on occasion which I never got before. It seems since ICS is so new there are a lot of small glitches to be worked out so I might just go back to 1.5 till its all solid.

2.2 is causing issues on some phones after flashing and after a reboot. Beware

If we re-download the file, I assume the service pack is within it so it doesn't have to be done separately.
Yep, just download the ROM and flash it per the instructions.

Forgot to ask, has anyone figured out the battery fix issue a lot are having using an ICS based ROM where it won't completed go to 100%? I cant get that high and always have a orange charging light. Been getting lower run times as well since the 2.1.

I saw in other threads 3.8 seemed to be the culprit as I do have that but some seemed fine. Figured it was something in the data reader for the battery though
