Just keep in mind they are intended for a carrier in Puerto Rico. They may not offer any real benefits here in the us.

Over on XDA, I've read conflicting reports on the new radio. Has anyone here used it and can give a little insight? Otherwise, I'll probably just stick with the radio I have now that was released previously.

unless the person who claims that the newest radios are better provides several before and after speedtests,id take the claims with a grain of salt. IMO alot of the percieved differences are due to the "placebo affect" of it being newer

might also take into consideration their locations... if they live in puerto rico or close to it,the new radios prolly are better!

best thing really,if you think they may be a benefit is to just try em yourself.make note of your phone signal in db(not count signal bars) do no fewer than 10 upload/download speed tests and get an average,and then flash the radios and repeat. compare the numbers. if it really is faster,run it a few days and observe connectivity,transition(in and out of wifi,4g,etc),phone signal DB,etc.
