Help Screen issue - flicker when power down

Is anyone experience the following. When on a bright screen or looking at something white like an email for example. If the screen then dims (power down) it kind of flickers down, in other words its not fluid like say an iphone. Does it sound like there might be an issue or is it just a thing that Android phones do? Thanks.

hi, im new here and i felt like responding to this, cuz i had the same issue , well i didnt know what it is.
from what i know and sure it may be that is a power saver option is called "auto adjust screen power" under "display" menu. sometimes i turn that off , when i play some game cuz it makes fps go low .
