Help Skype on my Xoom

I had my xoom for Christmas and downloaded skype from the Android market. However everything appears to be working until I try to contact anyone on skype, I can see my image and hear the ringing tone until they seem to answer. Then the camera stops working and the connection drops. Any help much appreciated.
 
Nope, it works fine on my wifi only US Xoom.

I don't know what your problem is but I know it can work.
 
Hi, I have a similar problem with my Xoom, but once the connection has dropped it freezes the tablet and I have to force the tablet to reboot.
 
Hi I'm new to this forum, have xoom for xmas and have been tryin to get skype workin on my xoom tablet!
Finally i have done it!!!!!

Follow the instructions "how to make skype video calling work on motorola xoom tablet.

It tells you how to remove the skype compleatly and gives you alink to the download you need.
I was not having much hope as so many other things I have tried have failed, but hey presto it works been chatting to my hubby from my tab to his pc no problems.

Hope this helps other people as I was begining to give up.

Wow I'm so happy I could help, hopefully all xoom users might find this thread while googling how to get skype to work.
