Help no firmware update from kies HELP!

i've heard there is a new firmware update available in kies PDA:LA1 PHONE:LA1 CSC:LA1, i connected my Galaxy Y to my computer... scanned by kies.. then, nothing happens. it didn't notify me about a firmware update.. T_T my current firmware is. PDA:KL3 PHONE:KL3 CSC:KL1, android 2.3.6 gingerbread help please
 
im sorry i cant help you. you rooted your phone and i still havent. problems with rooted phone are mostly not similar with unrooted.
