I for the life of me cant figure out why people are 4,5,6 or even more returns into the bionic. I experienced the very same issues that so many are talking about on here and another friend of mine had one and it acted exactly the same as mine. I contacted customer support and 2 conversations later with little to no resistance from verizon and not one single bionic swap they offered me any new comparable phone they had and they acknowledged to me that their was indeed a problem with the bionic itself and that they were "working" with motorola on a software fix with no timetable. I chose HTC Rezound. I was worried about the battery on the rezound but was pleasantly suprised when I got better life out of it then with my bionic. Its funny how when a phone doesnt have to constantly search for a good signal it gets better battery life. I like HTC's stance with regards to open development as well. If motorola would have opened the bionic up im sure the community would have already fixed the damn signal problem themselves. Bye Bye Moto.
BTW I check this forum very often and learned everything I know about rooting phones so thank you all very much for that. I just couldnt hold my tongue anymore about moto and this phone. Do any of you think original droid would have been even half as popular if the bootloader wasnt open??? I don't
