HTC Rezound Soak Test

Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet. Anyone hear anything about an ICS soak test yet? Seems like there'd be one there by now...
 
I haven't heard anything. Actually imo it does not surprise me. Why do you think there would be one by now?
 
You haven't heard anything because we aren't supposed to post about it on forums. Doesn't mean it's not happening.

Um...yeah? Why wouldn't we have heard anything...HTC specifically said "early 2012"...it's early 2012

Well I knew when Motorola was doing the X2 soak test so I figured maybe people would be cool and let us know about the Rezound soak test...? Maybe that's asking too much.
 
I apologize for my misleading post, was a lame attempt at being funny. To be clear I have not heard anything about a soak test on the rezound.
 
I didn't think HTC did soak tests the same way that Motorola does. It seems like HTC updates have been more of a, "lets push it out to some random devices today... Okay, nothing seems to have went horribly wrong... push it out to some more tomorrow... and repeat"

If I missed where HTC lets you sign up like Motorola, then somebody please point me to it!

See the new topic I just made below with the links! HTC announced this morning they are accepting 500 people to be beta tester for them in their vip community. They accepted 220 people so far. You have to fill out the survey and they will let you know then if you are in or not and send you an email.

They accepted me, the private community looks very cool.
 
I'm in too. The process is sooooo selective they give you a title. Schimm The Exalted One. :-p

Actually if you post here you're probably the geeky type they would like to have.

wow they gave you an awesome title!! :) They must have thrown me out... no email/confirmation from them, and the parting message from their server was iffy. I must have answered something they didn't like (i'm guessing the affiliation/client) and they instantly unfriended me :(
 
Ok I've been watching thread a while and was wondering what exactly is a "Soak Test". I'm fairly nerd saavy but I never heard that term.

Nope, doesn't look phone specific. However there haven't exactly been overwhelming details on what it's really about.

Basically from my understanding on the way Motorola does it... They give people the option to sign up on their website to kinda pretest updates. They roll it to these people a few days to a week in advance, just to make sure there are no major problems with a small roll out before opening it up to everyone.
 
Man, I'm dying for ICS. I wonder when HTC is going to release it for the Rezound!! Is anyone else as impatient as I??
 
ummmm, i need my phone to work as a phone and not as an experimental electronic apparatus :D
(Eventually yeah... no problem... some ice-cream will do. For the record... i want the HTC Sense bloatware on ICS!!!)
