Root Stock ICS System UI sound files

Some of the stock system UI sound files on the Esteem just annoy me. So I tracked down the stock ICS .ogg's to replace them all with. So if any one wants them here ya go Stock ICS System UI Sounds

Just download, extract and replace the .oggs in the system>media>audio>ui with these and reboot.

Also figured since we have some ICS based themes the sounds would top them off. ;) (Don't know if their added in the themes or not haven't flashed them yet ;))
 
Anybody happen to know how to change the super annoying keyboard click to something less annoying? Can't find the sound file for it.

Not in the same place? Would think it would be. Contained within the keyboard apk? Looking also.

Would like to replace the click with "DOh". Everyone would enjoy that around me when I'm typing :)
 
Nope I changed all the keypress files and its still the annoying "CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK" Its probably in the stock keyboard apk
 
Yeah just copied the apk to my sd renamed it to HIME.zip so I could extract. Then switched out the sound file and zipped it back up then renamed it to HIME.apk.

Now that I think about it the sound file might of not been long enough.

You can do that? I thought when you change an apk to zip you couldn't just rename it back to apk and it still work
 
I came to troll a lil, i disable all possible sounds on my phone, for battery saving purposes. This thread is useless to me, jk, nice find shiny

only issue mayy have been that i think it needed to be signed... some apk's dont but some do lol im not sure which ones tho i just try one then the other untill it works lol

Yea, it's not working for what I want to edit, I think I'd have to find a way to resign it lol
