Help white light coming from button leds on screen

I've had my rezound for 11 days and I noticed four light sources on the buttons side of screen when I look down the screen. I have light leaking on the bottom but that is pink. I can live with the light leaks on the bottom but I'm concerned that the screen is a real quality issue. It may even be noticeable when I play a movie with a dark scene. Just wanted to get peoples thoughts.

I bought the phone from Costco so they will need to ship me another one. Do you think the local Verizon store would do a straight exchange?

Edit: Just in case I was just being paranoid I booted up ny old Dinc. There was no hint of light coming from the button LEDs.

My Rezound does the same thing, but so did my Thunderbolt. I don't know if it's normal or not, but it never bothers me because I seldom look at my screen from that angle. I am guessing that the majority of the HTC phones are like that now and that if you get another one, it will probably do the same thing. I've checked other phones while at my Verizon store and HTC phones were the only ones I saw like that, but all of the HTC's there did the same thing.

I'll be interested in hearing if this is normal, or was designed like that for a reason.

Looking straight at my screen, I can see no light spillage. I have to hold the phone at one heck of an angle, trying to look down the crack between glass and case, to see any light.. If you see light looking straight at the screen I think that's not right. I don't know how common the problem is or if it's a complaint worthy of a return.
Perhaps other will chime in and we'll see if it's a wide spread problem or only isolated to a few.

I have light leakage too..kinda sucks but whatever... As I'm looking at it right now, the light leaks along the boarder of the bottom half ..if the entire outer border of the phone was lit id say anything awesome..but its only where the buttons are of course.

Bummer no thanks for me. Not a good day for a sense of humor. :o

Would it help if I said 2 of 3 rezounds I have light leaks. 2 old droid charges both had light leaks. Had a thunderbolt with light leak. My daughters dinc 2 has light leak.

Oh, I smiled when I read your post. Just thought that was reward enough! (spreading a little sunshine)

Back on topic, I'm not so concerned that I can see the light at (about 45-60 deg) an acute viewing angle. (although the more I notice it the more it troubles me, kind of like pinkish lights) My main concern is that I might see 4 little half moons of light when I'm watching a video with a dark scene (and the lights are on). I tested it last night and it didn't seem to have an effect on the quality of the video experience. However, everything else on this phone has been great so (like all of us) I'm worried about trading it in for a real lemon (you know yellow lights!).

That would make it unique though.
