The guy in a local store here said to reboot phones and tablets to clear apps/stuff from the memory that we don't use often. So i do reboot it once every few days. (lol it's like we are all Windows people ha ha). bye.
That would be my guess, since fastboot is basically like "hibernate" in Windows, it never really shuts down unless you pull the battery.Just did a Restart, not a power off. Upon restart the up timer did start over. I am wondering if having fastboot checked in the settings(Default setting) is what causes the timer to stay running or not reset?

Me, I don't get the uptime you guys do, because I have two batteries and swap them every 36 hours or so. I never plug my phone in. One battery's in the phone and one's in the wall charger at all times, and I swap them when the one in the phone goes dead. That way I always have a fresh battery, and my phone gets rebooted regularly.

Would've been longer, but I killed the battery laying in bed playing Angry Birds the other night. Had the phone since mid-December, and that, a random reboot, and the OTA are the only times I've seen the boot animation. Best I ever noticed on the Incredible was over 1500 hours.
The boss was complaining her Yahoo mail isn't showing the latest emails lately. So i came over to the genius bar (kitchen island), fumbled around with her phone, did a manual sync, looked at the settings, did a manual sync again to watch the circular arrows spin like an OCD funtime or if i get lucky. Didn't work. It can send out new emails just fine. Then I checked the uptime and it was 1322 hours!!! That's 55 days!!That was like since the last OTA update or something. If i was a Microsoft tech support guy i could have saved 10 minutes and said "Just reboot it!!" from the couch without looking at the phone!! Yeah, the reboot solved the problem and her Yahoo mail is happily working again now. bye
