First I want to apologize for losing my temper and editing out my useful post earlier today. I will reconstruct them some time later.

I actually love this phone and havnt had hardly any problems with it. I do have a problem with the service from boost and cant get good coverage while at work. Ive only held onto this phone because I liked developing and testing things. But now I dont even have any desire to do that anymore. I need a good phone with good coverage. So I will have to get either verizon or virgin mobiles in my area. Any recommendations I appreciate. Im also kinda burnt out on android lol.

On another note I just want to say Im too old for this crap. This android modding is a young persons game and I have no patience. I would advise you younger people that whenever you decide to do something like modding phones do it well. Learn as much as you can. You will be suprised how experiences like these will help you in the future.

You will get the same service with Virgin as they are also owned by Sprint and use their towers.
I thought about getting into development but i just don't have the time to learn what I need.

I thought it used verizon. I guess it verizon then.
 
Yeah as soon as I get a job to be able to pay for a 2 yr then I'll be getting a rezound so hopefully I'll be able to learn how to do some things with sense

I just cannot see signing another contract...I am buying a phone not a damn car. Why do I need to sign a contract.

I could easily afford and get approved.. but I just cannot justify it. I get excellent service with Boost in Atlanta.

+1. Agree. Good service of Boost Mobile here in Miami. I'll never sign a contract.

Come the 18th, I'll be right behind you. I was gonna renew my Verizon, but now think I'll go over to AT&T. Boost is great, but this phone is the most absolutely worthless phone I have ever owned.

OHHH NOOO...DONT GOOOO you have been so so helpful here and to me personally, I followed your guide to change the PRL and although it hasn't been the best in better service at work because that was my problem too...there is a difference and I owe it all to you. Actually, its not even work persay, its my office, I leave out of my office I get signal back like crazy and I work in the mountains so I guess its all that machinery in my office. Anyway enough of me...sad to see you go :( but understand and like some others I just cant see signing another contract for a phone...maybe you can comeback and just peek in on us from time to time with some helpful hints, tricks or solutions :D
 
Im having trouble finding what I want. I dont know if verizon is going to work out either. Looks like in my rural area I need US cellular but there phones suck.:confused:
 
That sucks...I thought all carriers decided to step up and get better phones but if there is anyway you could maybe grab a used inexpensive one from ebay or something to at least try the signal out then you'll know for sure...i used to work for verizon wireless years ago and they were known to buy out smaller companies so that they can give better service because they knew people would not drop the plans because no other carriers had their service...other than hearing randomly about us cellular im not too familiar, I hope it works out for you:)
 
Sad to see a good member leave :*( Your a VERY helpful member on the boards. Sad to see you leave and go back to the darkside (contract phone). I am with ya as far as service goes but I am the opposite. I have EXCELLENT service and decent 3G coverage for the most part. I have TERRIBLE pretty much 0 service at my house which is forcing me to buy a house phone >:O. I have no idea what the deal it. It is like my house is a prison. I have had people come over with Sprint, ATnT, etc and nobody gets good service once they are in my house. Either way...best of luck to you with your next phone (razr cough cough)

Would that fix my ills? I would hate to spend my money so I can get a signal at my work but Im not the only one at work with this problem there.

I don't know about that brand but my boss has installed a couple of those in houses where there isn't a cell tower for miles. Like out on madeline island Wisconsin. He said it was amazing. Absolutely no cell service til it was hooked up. Google madeline island, you'll get an idea of how far out it is
 
Well 400 is kinda steep compared to 200 though,, I guess I'd go with the one on eBay just because it's way cheaper, and if it doesn't work I'm sure you could send it back.. both look good thought... Wilson just has better support from what I see.. I'd say call and talk to there customer support...

Woodstock, I don't want to see you go, and I am serious about helping you get that device, I will chip in on it to help you out. I can prob donate some money now if you are gonna get this like asap. if you need help just let me know what I can do to get it to you. I will be more that happy to help a friend out, and I am not asking for anything in return from you, well other than still staying around the forum, But that's not really allot is it lol... All I can say is switching to Verizon from Boost/Sprint was the best thing for my sanity. I now have the HTC Rezound and 4G and all I can say on that is "wow". 4 bars of 4G at home as opposed to 0-1 bar with Boost. That's roughly 14mbs up and down on data. The only thing I miss is unlimited everything, on the other hand with 0 bars unlimited everything is still nothing. Best of luck
 
I just wanted to tell you guys that I got a signal booster and its awesome. It does as described and puts the signal inside my work. No more having to go outside to return text and make phone calls. I cant tell you how pleased I am.

On another note I put the Warp in a drawer. Im using a Nexus S 4g on boost now. Im happy with it.
