CheckROM Revolution v4.0

I would be surprised if any of the themes available for download from the kitchen are JKay 13.5 compatible.

ICS theme is working great with jkay 13.5 :) rest not comatible still...

edit
sry Shotgun, missed ur answer:o

Read in one of the comments for the ICS theme that if you search contacts by dialling on the dial pad it will crash, can anyone confirm this?

I've never been able to use any of the ICS themes. Every time I go on Phone or contacts it I get black screen or crashes thus having to revert back to original theme.

The ics themes will be whatever jkay version its designed for, if any.

The ics themes I've tried need the stock dialler to Install onto or it will crash when opening it

just flashed the theme from stock here and all works fine. I flashed the boot up animation as well as theme but I think just flashing the theme is fine as I believe it has the ICS boot animation built in.

I take it that v6=ICS? read on the register yesterday that samsung will begin rolling out ICS for the galaxy s2 on 1st march. of course, that info is to be taken with a pinch of salt ;)

Thankfully not!
v6 will be LA4 based and very good it is going to be too! Much more reliable than that ICS bobbins! :)

Hi,

I am currently running eagleblood but this rom looks good.... Do you know if
Theres Any planned support for the T989 (T-mobile galaxy s2) ?

Thanks!

Fear not fellas! I'm hearing good things about LA4. It supposed to be the best firmware released to date. Allegedly has good battery, faster gps, optimized scrolling classes for listviews for smoother scrolling. And of course, the prime plus point it has over any ICS release so far is stability.

Looking forward to CheckROM v6 LA4 very much indeed. I dont think it will be too far behind Jkay's LA4 release.

Hi, I've lurked, read and learnt both here and XDA before posting too much. I have to say LA4 does sound rather good. Patience is a virtue taught to me by Symbian and Nokia, when it comes to firmware. TBH newer versions of custom ROMs and the like on the SGII seem to come with amazing speed ! I understand the CheckROM team have primarily been working on the Note since v4, which is perfectly understandable and even more understandable is the lack of a CheckROM based on ICS. I shall personally flash the Samsung stock ICS and wait for Leomar75 and Gadgetcheck to weave their magic on it.

Hey fellas, just wanted to tell you, i have the galaxy s 2 for about 6 months, and a couple of days ago i flashed my first costum rom - Checkrom RevoHD v4.
so far it seems good, im really enjoying the KitchenPro options and everything.
im still checking it out though, but so far im pleased :)

Kitchenpro 2.2.1 just pushed through the market.

Looks like Siyah may actually work properly with it now. Im on NEAK so I wouldnt know as that kernal works seamlessly.

Seems the scrolling bug returned though. Refuses to scroll vertically through menus at times requiering a reset.
