Root Google thinks my Triumph is a Nexus S.

idk if it's CM9 or something else. But apparently Google thinks I have a Nexus S (I wish). I am running the 0.6.4 Alpha build and just got this email today. I'm not sure if I should be worried about this. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any chance this would possibly cause problems? maybe even legal problems??

Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure everyone who is running CM9 gets those. I know I did.

I assume it's because you're using CM9. I got the same welcome message the first time that I went through the setup the first time that I booted up cm9.

I got that email on January 31, never understood why..just ignored it




hmm..just checked right now and it was before CM9, I guess Google sent the email out to everyone

I got this email too. A friend hypothesised that it could be because the gapps package is from Nexus S ICS?

Yeah, I got that email within one hour after flashing CM9 the 1st time. I even commented on it in the CM9 thread.
