Ok guys i'm trying to post this as quick as I can, I have the ZVC update with no problems, no reboots, Just a little bit of freezing oh and i installed the drivers and it STILL won't work thanks!
EDIT: Should I Downgrade to ZVB to Root?
Yes!!!!! You should def downgrade so you could root. There isn't a root for zvc yet so you have to downgrade in order to root.

Also, you will have 100% confidence when you want to downgrade it to B because on its thread, Gbiggie will help you right away;within seconds on my experience (i think "he" is not a real human; he does not sleep..etc......just kidding). In short, once you on the right thread, that man will help you with all his heart; i have never had experience gotten help/advice in the past as the way he has done.

uh huh, plus everyone was waiting till today to see if the LG Connect was going to come out today, and since they didn't release it, more will most likely get the esteem.

I've been told they are delaying the release, anyway i got the esteem earlier and its great especially compared to the ascend
I'm fairly new to Metro PCS (came over from Verizon Wireless last August and currently have an Optimus M), so I'm not familiar with Metro's history of releasing new phones and possibly lowering the prices of other phones when they do so. I want to buy the Esteem (no real interest in the Connect, especially if it will involve a mail-in rebate when it is released), but I am waiting for the Connect to be released in the hope that the price of the Esteem will come down another $25 or $50 around the same time. Is that probably just wishful thinking on my part?
