Accessories What case (s) do you recomend?

The majority of the time, I use my phone at home, so I keep it naked in a official HTC pouch.
Sometimes I feel a tad uncomfortable when using my phone outside in case I drop it, so I brought a otterbox. However, I am not sure whether I should either deal with uncomfort or get a pouch / sock for use with the otterbox. Also, would you say a barely there case will help at all in protection?

Mehta - I have replied to your other thread http://androidforums.com/desire-hd-accessories/499396-case-use-pouch.html - have you seen it?

I use a casemate... not an aluminium one, but one of the others, in conjunction with a screen protector. That is all I use (nothing else) and it does the trick for me... I have dropped the phone a couple of times and never had a problem, so the case must be doing something!! :)

Aah., I wasn't sure if I had posted it before, and I couldn't find it in the forum. Thanks for the advice :-) do you use a Casemate tough then? I'm alright with my otterbox, but it's just the exposed screen. Yes I could get a screen protector, but then that would be on all the time, but again, that wouldn't be a bother if the screen protector is fairly invisible

I'm not sure what it's called exactly... it is a barely there, I think... got it in an Orange shop (for free).

The screen protector is ok... there were a couple of bubbles the first time I had one, but on this one, there are none... wasn't overly expensive, so I'm not too bothered!

I use a CaseMate Barely there. It provides a more secure grip for me without significantly adding to bulk. and protects the painted(anodised?) aluminium from getting scratched.

I've heard that it can actually take off the paint..

Looks alright.

Not for me though.

Yeah... after my initial impressedness on XDA, I decided against doing it. Have to admit, it does look pretty sweet but I'm not 100% convinced and, once it's done, there's no going back... with a cover, I can always take it off.

The potential to damage the phone/not be able to put it all back together is a bit off putting too, tbh!
