Maybe I am missing something???
Everything I have tried has not worked. Each time I have put a sd card in with all files needed I still boot directly into the Nook system. What am I missing???

Have written CWM to sd card using win32....
have loaded CM7 and gapps on said card....

Not sure. You haven't given me any idea what wrong. I see in your other post you got TWRP to work tho. The images are flashed the same way and most of the files are identical.

I have been reading up on this process for a couple of weeks, tried it multiple times. With a 4g and 16g card. My nook will never boot into anything other than its own OS. I have made multiple boot cards with the cwm, nothing has seemed to work. Is there a process I am missing that will allow the nook to boot to the card... as stated I have put all files needed on card and followed the guidelines to no avail...

Any help would be appreciated...

I'm sorry you're having issues. I moved this to a separate topic since it might be lengthy.

This has nothing to do with gApps or CM7 files. No sense copying them until it boots.

You said, "Have written CWM to sd card using win32....".

Obviously that doesn't work since it won't boot. When copying the image to your sdcard with win32, it'll take minutes not seconds. If you don't see that, you're doing something wrong.

Make sure you're extracting the IMG file and loading that into win32.

Make sure you see the img file extension next to the blue folder icon.

When you click Device, how many drives do you see? Just one?

Is this a Nook Color or Nook Touch? This only works with Nook Colors.

Is your Nook new or used? The sdcard slot is fragile and easily broken.

I have written the CWM .img to the card, I can see the files on my computer and when I boot NC I can go to my memory card and see the files but can't do anything with them...

Also when I am writting image it does take a few minutes. and all files appear on card..

Guess you missed this part:
Is this a Nook Color or Nook Touch? This only works with Nook Colors.

I hoped that might be the problem since you seemed to be doing things right. I even updated the bootable sdcard page with this disclaimer after replying to you yesterday, "This only works with the B&N Nook Color. If you have a Nook Touch, this will not work."

I know the touch has been rooted and CM9 is in the works, but not sure if they have anything stable enough to flash or a bootable sdcard yet.
