Unfortunately there is no app is available for this. However the volume on galaxy y is loud enough. If you still need to boost volume, try connecting your device to any portable speakers via line-in cable.

download equilizer from android market change the settings of equilizer and enjoy good volume than previous ..i experienced it works

i think its a hardware issue. SGY is meant not to play that loud. a trade-off for being one of the cheapest android phones.

anyways, you can always reencode your music files to play louder. google search for it.
