Root [CDMA] Charging issues after I restored CleanRom back up.

Hello,

I have this replacement E3D for about a month and since it came with Hboot ver 1.40 I rooted and installed clean Room 3.0 and had no issues with it. But on Monday I did a backup and installed the alpha version of MIUI to test out ICS on the E3D. I used the room for 2 todays and since I was missing sense and the battery life of clean Rom I switched back to it Wednesday, but after that day I noticed something odd. If I put the phone to charge at with about 2/3 of juice left the phone charges fine. But if I let the phone drop to low battery and I try to charge it, the battery will stay at stuck that percentage level until I reboot the phone. On Wednesday I put it to charge with about 35% battery left and after 2 hours charging the phone was still at 35%, I don't know what's going on.

*Extra details*

Phone is rooted with s/off and Hboot version 1.40.
I have CWM recovery ver 5.0.2.0.
I'm running CleanRom ver 3.0 preview.
I wiped everything when I installed MIUI.
I didn't wipe before restoring CleanRom.

Thanks in advance.

That seems odd. Try doing this:

Wipe cache and dalvik cache.
Re-flash the kernel.

If you don't have a kernel to flash, you can use FlashGUI and extract the kernel from the CleanROM zip (the app will do it automatically). You can get it by following this: http://androidforums.com/evo-3d-all...h-kernels-recoveries-normal-android-mode.html

Or you can:

Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Restore the NANDroid again.

I always wipe cache and dalvik before doing a NANDroid restore.

Okay I'm doing your second option and I will report back after burn down the battery. Thank you for the help.

Okay after testing the phone for a couple days and is back to normal. Yhanks for the help.

NP. Always wipe cache and dalvik when doing anything in recovery :) It's a pain to wait the 5 minutes for the phone to boot afterwards, but it helps prevent so many issues :)
