Help scrolling bookmark widget

I cannot add a bookmark to my Xoom scrolling bookmark widget. I am able to bookmark a site, but I can't get the bookmark on my scrolling widget. Please help. I use this all the time and hate that since the update, I cannot add to it

go to the web page that you want to bookmark,
On the right hand side of the screen there is a star, magnifying glass and a ribbon with a star.
Click the star (the 1st one)
Make any changes to the name.
Click OK.

Ta da your done. It takes a few moments for the bm scroller to refresh and bm will be at the end.

If you choose to have the icons on your homescrren. Shortcutlink is great.
